Many housewives use washing machines every day, especially if the family is large or has a small child. At the same time, consumers choose a washing machine for a long time, for which it should show itself only from the best side.

1. Washing class;
2. Spin class;
3. Energy efficiency class.

Washing class

This indicator is printed in Latin letters A,B,C,D,F and G. The letter designates the washing class.

The washing design receives a letter grade only after the test tests, in which a piece of fabric of a special size is placed in the drum, on which various kinds of stains are put. Then the powder is poured (washing powder is used the same for all tested washing machines for the purity of the experiment) and turn on the standard washing process at a water temperature of exactly 60 degrees Celsius.

If, after the washing process, a piece of fabric still has any dirt on it, then the grade is evaluated by checking the fabric against the results of the reference machine washing process. If the test result is slightly worse, the machine gets the following classes - C,D,F and G, which depends on the number of remaining stains on the piece of fabric.

The benchmark machine was installed and launched in 1995, and over these past ten years has increased its requirements for washing quality. However, the manufacturing companies have not sat still either.

In 2000 you would have still had the opportunity to see washing machines with washing classes F and G, but not today, because now such designs are very difficult to find among the huge number of washing machines (up to 99% of goods) with a class A, which flooded the markets of household appliances.

However, nowadays it is possible to find washing designs with low characteristics and washing classes. For example, Candy CR 81 one-of-a-kind machine with washing class D. Spin class

Spin efficiency class is determined by approximately the same algorithm as the washing class, and is designated by the same English letters A, C, C, D, F, G.

But still there is a difference when assigning spin class to one or another model. It all depends on the residual moisture content after unloading the laundry.

The minimum humidity is 40%, the maximum is 90%.

For example, spin class C will be assigned to the model, the humidity of the laundry decreased to 55%, and class F - if the humidity does not exceed 80%.

When choosing the washing efficiency, everything is much easier and clearer: it is best to take a machine with a category A, so that it removes stains as best as possible. But everything is not so simple with the spin class.

Firstly, efficiency A is very rare.

Second, the higher the spin class, the more expensive the machine will be.

Third, not every fabric can be almost completely spun, such as silk, wool and other delicate fabrics.

And this raises a logical question: is it worth paying more if the fabric will still have to finish drying on a rope? Probably not.

Of course, manufacturers are working to improve their performance and do not stand still, but still buyers have the risk of buying a machine with a low spin class.

Which one is better, everyone should decide for himself, but it is better to avoid the lowest categories. By the way, most buyers think that the spin class depends directly on the number of revolutions per minute, and there is some truth here.

Yes, models with 500 rpm will not spin clothes to 40% humidity, but devices with rpm that reach the 1000 mark can be both C and B class.

Energy Efficiency Class

In the beginning, models as well as in the first two above-mentioned indicators were assigned classes A, B, C and so on, depending on how many kWh were spent on a cycle of washing at 60 degrees Celsius.

But over time, the wasteful F and G categories faded into oblivion, and they were abandoned by all washing machine manufacturers.

Instead, new classes appeared, such as A+, A++, and can you believe it, even A+++! No one is ruling out the possibility that there may soon be new models with four pluses.

However, before you buy one, consider the fact that the A+++ class machine will save you mere pennies per wash cycle compared to an A++ class machine, even though the original price of the former will be several thousand rubles higher.

So the savings do not always pay off, and you risk wasting the money you need. As the saying goes, the game is not worth the candle.

Vertical or front loading

Before you choose an automatic washing machine, pay attention to the type of loading: Front-loading or vertical-loading..
