Reason #1. The system drain is clogged
In this situation, the drain filter is involved, as it is responsible for the performance of the pump, and thanks to its work there is a circulation of water.
In order to understand that the cause of the breakdown - the drain filter, you just need to check it. Most often, small objects, lint, husks from seeds or nuts, threads remain on it, which makes it difficult to drain the water.
The knot is placed in the front and bottom by the manufacturer precisely in view of solving this problem by yourself. It is enough to unscrew the filter and rinse it thoroughly.

The reason № 2. The pump is out of order.
In some machines, the weak link is the drain pump.

- Bosch brand washing machines are equipped with a drain pump, which is located on the front and to remove it, you need to unscrew the front panel;
- Electrolux machines have a pump that can be reached through the rear housing.
How to check if the pump works?
You should start checking the operation of the pump by removing the filter.- After that you should set the washing program to "spin".
- Using a flashlight, it is enough to look into the hole of the filter and understand how serious the situation is. The impeller is located there.
- First you need to understand whether it rotates well. To do this, it is enough to clean the impeller of debris, as a trifling object can cause a breakdown.
In the case of free movement, you may need the help of a craftsman, who will make a diagnosis of the pump. If the option with a wizard is out, then you need to understand that if the impeller does not rotate, then most likely the drain pump (pump) is out of order. You will have to replace it.
It will be necessary to remove the drain assembly from the washing machine and detach the pump from it, carefully removing the wires. In its place put a new part and complete the assembly of the machine with a test wash.
Cause #3. The outlet is clogged
This part connects the pump and the tank.
If there is nothing wrong with the filter, and the washing machine does not drain water well, the problem may be in the spigot.
Check whether the spigot works.
To get to it, you will have to unscrew the screws to fix the drain nodes.- Then takes out the branch pipe itself and remove the fixing clamp.
- In the branch pipe there is water, which must be drained.

Cause #4. The "spin" mode does not turn on
With this problem, the machine refuses to completely drain the water.
The problem, most likely, lurks in the wrong installation of the drain hose or clogs in the sewage system and siphon. As a consequence, the water does not drain from the washing machine.
Among the most trivial causes of water drainage problems is a problem with the drain hose.
- It is necessary to check whether it is not twisted or jammed.
- It is necessary to pay attention to the height of the bend, taking into account the minimum value of 60 cm.
- If the water from the washing machine drains into the drain, it is advisable to check the siphon for clogs.
Reason #5. Electronics are malfunctioning.
If, for example, the control unit stabilizer is defective, the machine does not receive the appropriate commands from the "brain" and therefore the water does not drain.
Before concluding that there is a malfunction in the electronics of the machine, you must make sure that "spin" is really included in this washing program.
If yes, then perhaps the system has failed and it is enough to reset it. To do this, you have to unplug and plug it in again. If this does not help, the problem cannot be solved without a service center. This is a more complex fault, which, if solved unprofessionally, is dangerous.
