Want to know how to fix a clothes dryer at home? I'll share with you how I did it at home for 10 minutes, perhaps if I did not have all the tools would have taken more time, or I would have bought a new dryer, as they are usually under $ 10, for example I bought mine in Leroy- Merlin, but there are more expensive and better quality, but they all break.

How to repair the strings on the floor dryer with your own hands?
Often housewives do not calculate the strength of the dryer hang a lot of laundry and they do not withstand such an onslaught and the solder breaks. Metal is now made cheap and it is easy to break, it is especially sad, because after washing you want to properly dry the laundry, and not to engage in long repairs.
I believe that it is better to fix once quality, than every time "tuck and tape" and get angry.
Step-by-step instructions for repairing the clothes dryer, making it "like new"
First, let's drill holes in the places where the strings break on your floor dryer, pick a thin drill bit according to the diameter of your string!
Remove the paint at the dryer joints
For our connection to be strong, we need to remove the tape on which you glued the torn strings before and sand them with a sandpaper, file, nail file, or a surface sanding machine.
Bend the dryer strings on which to hang laundry after washing
Drilled holes in the tube, then we make hooks from spokes and insert them into the drilled holes!
It is also better to bend the end of the spoke about half a centimeter downwards. The hole should be in the place of bending of the rod, we put the bent end into the hole and wrap with duct tape, or do better and solder and paint to be as new!
Then sand and solder them, pre-treating everything with solder acid for a better connection!
We sand them well with a file.
To make sure nothing is sticking out or splintering, we file our dryer well at the solder joints!
Everything is fine, now you can paint, use any water-resistant paint, I used alkyd spray paint, but you can use any metal paint! Done!

How I Fixed the Dryer Legs
Dryer legs also often break, I used a hacksaw, sawed at the joint, straightened the tube to an even state, made a tube out of strong wood, inserted in the broken dryer leg on both sides, taped with duct tape. Held well, you can also drill small holes and fix an additional wooden rod inside the leg! The way works! And what method did you use?
Hello. I just pulled a clothesline instead of the ripped and bent spokes. Took about 5 minutes.
