Full deciphering of labels

fabrics Fabric care
Fabrics of natural origin
Cotton It can be washed at absolutely any temperature, both in the washing machine and by hand using various means. There is a possibility of 3-5% shrinkage of cotton products.
Wool Washing by hand or in a machine when the washing program for wool is turned on, the temperature should not exceed 30 degrees Celsius. Only wool washing detergents should be used. After washing, do not twist (spin) hard. Dry the garment on a towel on which the washed item is gently spread out until the moisture has completely disappeared.
Silk Requires only delicate treatment. Recommend hand washing with special detergents for washing silk and wool, temperature should not exceed 30 degrees Celsius. Must not be exposed to high temperatures. Must not be soaked. Colors must be washed separately.

Man-made fabrics
Viscose, Modal, Rayon. Wash only at low temperatures. Hand wash is preferred. Shrinks by 4-8%. Softening laundry detergent should be used.
Synthetic fabrics
Polyester, Elastane, Polyamide, Lycra, Tactel, Daikron Wash in a washing machine at maximum 40 degrees Celsius. Must not be ironed (otherwise the fabric could simply melt)

This applies to all materials:

  • Using Liquid Laundry GelsTry to use bleaching agents as little as possible, unless your product label says so.
  • Use gentle laundry detergents (powders or liquid gels).
  • Incorrect wrong amount of detergent or gel can cause damage to your clothing. Recommendations on the amount of detergent to use are printed on the product package.
  • When washing your undergarments with a machine, place them in special pouches.
  • Never soak coloured or printed cloths.
  • Do not tumble dry in the machine.
  • Before washing, carefully read the care instructions on the label of your garment. The most common symbols and their deciphering will be given at the end of the article.
  • Try to sort your laundry by type of laundry. Separate new and brightly colored laundry for the first wash. Split bright and dark colors into two different washes.
  • If labels show the symbols and icons for delicate washing.Try to halve the size of your laundry. This will help you reinsure against excessive curdling. Articles made of synthetics and synthetic blends are best washed separately from natural fabrics.
  • Dark materials have a huge amount of dye pigments. This over-abundance should be eliminated in the initial wash by hand.
