Today, no one in the house can do without a washing assistant - it is used at least three times a week.
And each owner is trying not to think about the impending failure, which can entail technique, which long or improperly used improperly used.
What to do if the washing machine from the manufacturer LG stopped responding to the programs of washing processes you set, or does not turn on at all?
Why doesn't LG washing machine turn on?
The moment you plugged in your washing design, you were able to discover that your washing machine did not show any natural signs of life (for example, the greeting tune did not play, or the indicator light did not turn on).
There are actually many reasons for this question: from simple and fairly easy breakdowns caused by the negligence of the owner, to quite serious problems.
Lack of Power
This is one of the most common reasons why your LG washing machine can not run - the lack of electricity. The power supply may not be available in the following cases:
There is a power outage throughout your house, but you didn't notice it;
- If you find the place where the wire broke, you can try to do it yourself with duct tape or soldering iron, but we do not recommend taking such action, as it is not safe and will simply make the cord worse
- There is a chance that the RCD may be working, for example, when the electrical power has "leaked";
- You may have a burned out outlet. To find out for sure, simply plug another appliance into that outlet, and if it functions, it's no longer about the outlet.
The washing machine cord is broken
To check the mains cord from your helper, it is best to use a standard tester (multimeter), or, in a pinch, you can use an indicator screwdriver.
If your fears are confirmed, we recommend replacing the cord completely. If you find the place where the wire broke, you can try to fix it yourself with electrical tape or a soldering iron, but we do not recommend taking such actions, as it is not safe and will just aggravate the situation of the cord. Even if you have fixed everything correctly, the problem will still not disappear, it will only go away for a while.
Faulty power button
On a large number of washing machines, after the cord is plugged in, the power to the machine itself can come from the on/off button.
The power button can also be checked with a regular tester. Set it to buzzer (mode), unplug the machine from the power, hold the button in two states - on, and off - for a while. If the power button is functional, the tester (multimeter) will give one of the characteristic sounds. If it does not, you will need to replace the button.
Problem with the noise filter (FPS)
This filter quenches all electromagnetic waves that have the ability to interfere with other appliances in the vicinity. This could be appliances such as a dishwasher, TV, or microwave.
In such cases, if the filter breaks, it stops passing electricity through the circuit, which forms some sort of problem when the washing machine is turned on.
First, you need to remove the top panel of the LG washing machine that is not working, and find the FPS. The filter has three wires on the input, the first of which is ground, the others are zero and phase (neutral), and the output is only neutral and phase.
If there is voltage on the input and no voltage on the output, you can assume that the problem is in this element and it must be replaced.
We advise you to be very careful when checking the FPS.
The control module is broken
If all of the previous causes were not found, the fault may lie in the control module. We say in advance, if you have to replace the module, it is very expensive, and it is unlikely that replacing the module will ever be a justified solution.
However, some craftsmen have the ability to fix such an element, so to save all your resources, all you have to do is call them on the house.
Other causes
The washing process does not turn on
It is also not uncommon when you have plugged in the machine, the indicator light came on, and the washing machine still does not work, no matter how you spin it.
Broken UBL (hatch locking device) Door closing is not recognized
First of all, make sure that the door is firmly pressed hatch door. If your door is unobstructed and closes tightly. If there is nothing obstructing your door and it closes tightly, it is worth checking whether it locks after starting the program.
If the lock does not work and the door does not close during the washing process, then it indicates that your lock is defective. To find out for sure if it is the interlock, you need to test this element with a tester.
If the current goes to the doors when you start the washing process program, but the interlock does not form, then there is a chance that the hatch interlock device (UBL) is broken and needs to be replaced.
The indicators "dance" when starting
If you notice that when you plug the LG washing machine that is not working into the socket, all the light indicators have gone crazy, flashing randomly, or going out and on together, then the problem is most likely in your wiring.
You should find the damaged area and replace it urgently.
As you may have already noticed, there are a huge number of breakdowns to the LG washing machine.
Half may be due to our inattention and carelessness, but they are it is possible to fix them..
The rest can only be repaired with the help of a specialist, especially if you do not understand anything about electrical engineering.
Have a nice wash!
