In our progressive times, a huge number of machines are created with the expectation that even beginners will be able to cope with the control freely. The system, understandable on an intuitive level, assumes that even a granny will be able to cope with a new acquisition.
Unfortunately, sometimes in practice it turns out that not every family can understand the symbols on the new helper.
Deciphering the signs of the washing machine on the main types of displays
Often signs from different manufacturers are something similar, so let's consider a couple of basic examples.
Ardo:
VEKO ("Beko"):
ЕIesТroluch, AEG (Electrolux, A EG):
Sieemеns,BoSch (Siemens, Bosch):
Аristton, Indesit ("Ariston", "Indesit"):
That is, you'll be able to attach the base to any suitable location, such as the the machine itself or near it, so that you don't get confused later on.
Groups of conventions on the washing machine
All of the above images can be divided into 4 main groups.
Group number one includes icons that show the course of washing:
- Normal Washing.
- Prewash.
- Rinse mode.
- Extra rinse.
- Spin.
- Drain.
- Drying.
- End of wash.
The 2nd group of characters shows those modes that are designed for certain types of fabric. The key difference is the temperature and drum speed when washing and spinning.
The signs on the washer that are used most often:
- Jeans.
- Silk.
- Synthetics.
- Jeans.
- Wool.
The third group usually includes those modes that you can use at your own discretion:
- Things with stains.
- Hand wash.
- Economy wash.
- Delicate fabrics.
- Night wash.
- Fast wash.
- Wash actively.
- Baby toys and clothes.
- Personal care items.
- Curtains.
Thus, the capabilities of washing machines are growing every day to improve the quality of washing and increase competitiveness.
In the fourth group, however. there is a button for each washing machine icon. This itself is a group of additional functions that can include these programs in addition to washing.
Very often it happens that the icons from the third group are dragged to the 4th group, and vice versa.
Suppose, if in one machine from the first manufacturer the "stuff with stains" mode will be a separate mode, then in another model from another manufacturer it will be a mode under a separate button and it will be an additional function.
But usually the following list of designations is placed on the panel:
- Non-Reducing.
- Reduction of washing time.
- Reducing the number of revolutions.
- Control of formation Foam control.
- Use of more water.
